Software Radio Development System
Advanced Radar and Communication Systems can be designed, developed, and evaluated using our software radio simulator and satellite channel simulators, or satellite link emulators.
Software radar simulator provides a generalized framework for various types of radars and includes ready to use modules for immediate design and performance evaluation for different radars starting from environmental radars, ionospheric radars including OTH, target tracking, surveillance, and airborne and satellite-borne system including various SAR.
The software radio development platform makes ready-made hardware available for the rapid design and development of various software radio architectures, including communication, radar, and navigation systems. The platform is a self-contained unit consisting of a variable frequency front end, tuners covering HF to microwaves, ADCs, and real-time processors (FPGAs and DSPs) capable of decimation, downconversion, decorrelation, channelization, interpolation, and filtering for sampling rates up to 120 MSPS per channel. Various software routines process and analyze the demodulated signals, operating through our IMPULSE™ framework. These C/C++ routines allow drag and drop configuration of sophisticated signal processing and analysis.
The software radio development platform lets users develop advanced systems quickly. It reduces the time spent prototyping by orders of magnitude.
